I really had a good time participating in a recent Mini-Bloggiesta, a full weekend of brushing up my blog and doing things I hadn't been able to get around to doing. So I'm going to go ahead and participate in the full Bloggiesta, starting September 18.
As I am a part-time blogger my to-do list will probably not be as extensive as others, but it is still a list of things I have been needing to do for a while now.
To-Do:
- Write up at least one recipe review.
- Come up with a game-plan for the 24-hour Read-a-thon.
- Come up with a game-plan for Sci-Fi Month.
- Create a Review Policy.
- Clean up my Goodreads account.
- Update my Riffle account.
I may end up having a few more ideas during Bloggiesta, but for now I feel this will take up plenty of time. I'm really looking forward to learning more.
Sounds like a good list, especially if you are only part-time. Good luck with it, and here's my BLOGGIESTA POST
ReplyDeleteThanks! Looking at yours I realize I forgot to add participating in Twitter Parties. Then again, I always have so much fun with those, it doesn't feel like a task :)
DeleteLooks like perfectly respectable list. good luck!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks!
DeleteThat's a good sized, yet manageable list. Good luck and I hope you're able to get everything done :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I was kinda worried the list was on the small side, but I like "manageable". :)
DeleteManageable is definitely good. I usually have stuff left over that I was able to get to. LOL
Delete*wasn't able to get to
DeleteI'll have to remember that. Anything that doesn't get done this time will have to go on the next to-do list.
DeleteWonderful list! Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the read-a-thon!!! :D
ReplyDeleteAlso, I can't wait to read a recipe review. ;) I like to cook/bake, too. What are you thinking about doing?
Great post!
I'm considering either a pear or peach cake, or home made hot pockets with pie filling. A la mode, of course.
DeletePutting together plans for sci-fi month is a good one, I should add that to my list too.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I'll be taking part in the 24 hour readathon yet because it's very soon after I start at uni and I'm not sure what my work load will be like yet!
Good luck with your list, hope you manage to get everything done :)
Many thanks! This is my first sci-fi month so I'm not entirely sure what to expect. But I figure a vague plan is better than no plan.
DeleteI hadn't heard of Sci-Fi Month, but it sounded like fun, so I clicked on the link and signed up myself. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAlways happy to spread the word! I'm a newbie to it myself this year so I figure having at least a vague plan will help out.
DeleteGreat list!!! Good luck and I'm like you I need to clean up my Goodreads as well.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck! My Goodreads clean up was mainly that I had accidentally created 2 accounts, one for Twitter and one for Facebook.
DeleteGreat list! How is it going???
ReplyDeleteThanks! I still need to write up a review policy and get a plan going for Sci-Fi Month. I'm really hoping to finish up tomorrow.
DeleteMost of the time, my bloggiesta lists are really short. This time I made a main list of 5 goals, and then I made a Bonus Goals list, so that way if I accomplished the first 5, I could move on to the bonus ones. So far it's working out for me, although I keep adding more and more goals to the Bonus list, and it's the last day and I really doubt I'm going to get many of those bonus goals done. But oh, well.
ReplyDeleteYou've got a great list, and definitely an achievable one! It's been great talking to you during the chats! Good luck with your list! :)
Unfortunately I didn't achieve all of them. I got hit hard with exhaustion on Sunday and two items were just never accomplished. Oh well. There's always next year!
